What's wrong with a black suit? →
The real key: almost anything that you can do in a black suit, you can do in a dark gray suit, and that suit will have none of the problems listed above.
Read on for the “problems with black suits”.

Non-profit pricing →
Interesting take on how they adjust pricing of their services based on the customer. They don’t.
I think it’s a fair way to go by not having different pricing. We make donations on occasion at Foojee, but our prices are consistent and publicly available for all of our customers.

Get a cup of good coffee, learn the Mac.
Alright folks, if you’re reading this, you might have a good idea of how to use iPhoto. But what about your parents? Friends? Relatives that just got a Mac?
Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee is doing really great work, and we’re helping them out over the next two weeks with free workshops. Come support them!

How the iPad is changing media publishing →
A friend of mine, Chad Zellner highlights VIV magazine’s vision of what the iPad will do for the print business. So cool to see what’s to come. On a more objective note, will the animation be distracting? Or is my grumpy 70 year-old in me talking?
Compelling talk from David Heinemeier Hansson, partner at 37signals.com about making money on the web, although I think the concepts apply to any business.
Jason Calcanis vs. David Heinemeier Hansson on... →
Most of these points are also listed in 37signals.com’s new book REWORK, but it’s nice to see David discuss/argue it in an interview. Two specific things that I took from it was:
Your success is measured by how much good you were able to bring to the world.
The whole point of a business is to make a profit. Revenues mean shit if there’s no earnings on top of it. Of course this...

Angels and Airwaves new album, LOVE →
Angels and Airwaves is following suit to an album release trend (and one that I truly respect) that started with Radiohead a couple of years ago. They are offering their latest album, LOVE, totally free from there website. They don’t require registration, or even an email address. Fairly cool!
They are, however, accepting donations. I went ahead and donated… I mean, how cool is it...
Buzz is just the beginning
I think Buzz is trying to take advantage of the social media honeymoon stage we’re in. Not that it’s a bad thing, but I think we should get used to hundreds more social networks coming out in the next couple of years (and more beyond that).
Most importantly, I think the goal of these won’t be to become the next Facebook or Twitter, but rather to cater to specific markets.
Facebook right now has...
Where you can find me this week
I’ll be at the Apple Store Mall of Georgia on Wednesday at 4p to present Social Media for your Business. Should be good, you should come.
Additionally, on Thursday you can find me at the Apple Store North Point presenting Security on a Mac at 7p. I think the majority of Mac users could benefit from the basic tips in the workshop, especially as more of us have laptops and are storing more...

Hope and a burrito
Today’s been a collision of hope, fatigue, enjoyment, congestion, a burrito, and determination.

Fatigue: I’m fighting of a cold that was probably onset from last week’s {good} chaos.
Enjoyment: of being with the one I love. Cristina. We were able to shop for our wedding today, make...
